From the moment I decided to create this custom piece, I knew it would be something a little different than what others have.
I began with a custom grungy cast aluminum base and started adding cool parts and then finally topped it off with a glass dome. You'll love it. It is also adorned with Spun Gold cloth-covered twisted wire with a brown vintage-style plug. The cloth-covered wire is imitation silk and adds a distinctive flair. You don’t want to hide this cord.
I’m also including the 40W Nostalgic Spiral Filament Edison Bulb (pictured) at no additional charge. This bulb is awesome and adds a nostalgic, yet subtle brightness to any room.
Many of the parts, pieces, and fittings were custom fabricated and the entire light stands approximately 8” tall with a 5” diameter base. It’s solid inside and out…no cheap plastic or flimsy materials here. It’s built to last.
If you would like an inline switch on the cloth-covered wire (in addition to the switch already on the socket), then put it in the "notes" section when checking out. Let me know how far away from the base you want it.
